My own elf-child knew that I was looking for another children’s book to put online. Hiding away in an old antique shop, she came across this small book and was tickled with it, and got it for me for my birthday.
It is charming, and the pictures are also. There is no mention of the illustrator’s name. Whether Ms. Colver did them, or someone else, is not clear in the text.
The age group is kindergarten or so, and younger. In the front of the book, in childish handwriting, is penciled “Nancy.” This previous owner liked the book enough to claim it in writing.
