A glimpse of Christianity in Roman Britain is to be found in the list of the signers of the canons adopted at the Council of Arles, in Gaul, held in A. D. 314; alongside 32of the bishops of certain cities of Gaul are to be found the following representatives of the Christian church in Britain.
